Aníta has always been passionate about the human body and its functional abilities. She qualified as a strength and conditioning trainer in 2016, helping people of all ages and backgrounds achieve their goals and improving their physical performance through exercising. This prompted her to further pursue her passion about the human body and train as an osteopath.

Aníta graduated with a Masters or Osteopathy after four years of training at the University College of Osteopathy. In 2023 she became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science after completing the 40 week course at the Gray Institute.

She enjoys treating people of all ages and backgrounds. Her special interests are the body’s function and biomechanics or movements and sports injury rehabilitation.

Aníta believes in an individualised and holistic approach, therefore every treatment is costumed to each individual and may include hands on treatment as well as lifestyle advice and education. She is passionate about providing the best patient care and most optimal management plan to enhance best outcomes for each individual.

In September 2023 Aníta started lecturing clinical rehabilitation and osteopathic technique in the University College of Osteopathy.

Originally from Iceland, Aníta moved to London to pursue her career in osteopathy. She enjoys being active, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
